James E. Dunnagan1936-2014Chicopee- James Edward Dunnagan, 77, of Chicopee, passed away on May 11, 2014 at Holyoke Medical Center. Born in Dalton, MA, on May 13, 1936 he was a son of the late James M. and Emma (Lyman) Dunnagan of Dalton, MA. James served in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Germany. He graduated with a degree in business from Bryant University in Providence, Rhode Island, in 1962. James worked as a retail manager for Zayre and Aubuchon, retiring in 2000. He is survived by his loving wife Joann (MacDonald) Dunnagan of Chicopee; his three daughters, Nancy Dunnagan Peck of Easthampton, MA,  Marciann Dunnagan of Holliston, MA and Susan Dunnagan of Natick, MA; three grandchildren, Ryan, Lauren and Adam; and great grandson Brayden. He was predeceased by his brother Robert James Dunnagan of Dalton, MA.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at 12:15pm at Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway, Chicopee, MA with a funeral home service at 12:30pm. Rites of Committal will be held in the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery Chapel at 2pm.  Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 from 4-7pm.
