Janice "Jan" Bridgman

Janice "Jan" Bridgman, 83, formerly of Murphy Lane in Chicopee passed away peacefully at Mercy Hospital on Sunday, April 3, 2022. Jan was born in Springfield on May 17, 1938, a daughter of Raymond Bousquet and Berthe (Cormier) Bousquet Pisarek. She grew up in Chicopee, attended Catholic schools and graduated from Chicopee High School in 1956. Jan worked for many years at Deluxe Check Printers in the Data Processing department. She later worked for Salvatore's restaurant as a banquet server. She was a communicant of the former St. George's Church in Chicopee Falls. She was predeceased by her parents, Raymond and Berthe Bousquet and a brother, Raymond Bousquet. Jan leaves her beloved children, Michael Bridgman and his wife Nina of Salem, MA. and Brenda Bridgman of Sequim, WA.; her cherished grandchildren, Cody Van Noy of Sequim, WA. and Emily Bridgman of Salem, MA.; her dear sister, Dorothy Walker of Hampden and several nieces and nephews. FAMILY AND FRIENDS WILL GATHER TO REMEMBER JAN AT THE TYLUNAS FUNERAL HOME, 159 BROADWAY ST., CHICOPEE ON THURSDAY, APRIL 7, 2022 FROM 4:00 TO 7:00 P.M. JAN WILL BE INTERRED IN ST. MICHAELS CEMETERY IN SPRINGFIELD AT ATIME AND DAY TO BE ANNOUNCED IN JULY.
