Jean Beverly Crevier

Jean B. Crevier1934-2014CHICOPEE- Jean B. (Forant) Crevier, 79, passed away on April 6, 2014 in the presence of loving family after a long brave fight with her illness.  Jean was born on July 27, 1934 to the late Armand and Anna Forant in Springfield.  She graduated from Chicopee High School in 1952.  Jean worked at Mass Mutual Life Insurance for 16 years, retiring in 1996.  She was a member of Mary, Mother of Hope Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. Her greatest joy was in spending time with her family.  Jean is predeceased by her loving husband, Theodore Crevier, and a son-in-law, Carl Rollins.  She is survived by two sons, Theodore Crevier and his wife Donna of Chicopee, and William Crevier and his wife Leslie of Middletown, DE; two daughters, Susan Schmieding of Granby, and Kathleen Rollins of Chicopee; one sister, Marilyn Perron of Chicopee; ten grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and her beloved cat Muffin.  Services for Jean will be Saturday, April 12 at 9am at Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway St, Chicopee, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10am in Mary, Mother of Hope Church, 840 Page Blvd, Springfield, and burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fuller Road, Chicopee. Visiting hours will be Friday, April 11 from 4-7pm at the funeral home.  Donations may be made to Baystate VNA and Hospice, c/o Baystate Health Foundation, 280 Chestnut St 6th Floor, Springfield, MA 01199.
