Jean T. Laperle

Jean T. LaPerle 1933 ~ 2008   CHICOPEE- Jean T. (Kusmierz) LaPerle, 74, of Chicopee, devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother, entered into eternal rest on Monday July 14, 2008 in the Willimansett Nursing Home-West. She was born in Springfield on December 18, 1933 the daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Jeziout) Kusmierz. Jean was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church in Chicopee. She graduated from Chicopee High School and had been employed at Super Brush and Mass Mutual. Jean is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert H. LaPerle; three sons, Gary LaPerle of Milford, CT, and his companion Diane Iannuzzi, Glenn LaPerle and his wife Marge of Warwick, NY, Kevin LaPerle of Chicopee; two daughters, Doreen Lukasik and her husband Ronald of Chicopee, Debra Melhorn and her husband Mark of South Hadley; a brother, Robert Kusmierz and his wife Angie of Agawam; eight grandchildren, Tim and his wife Melissa, Matthew, Christina, Stephanie, Tom, Kevin, Adam, and Jonathan; and a great-grandson, Travis. Jean enjoyed craft fairs, but she received the most enjoyment when she was with her family that she loved so much. Jean's family would like to thank the staff at Willimansett Nursing Home-West for the care, compassion and love they gave to Jean. Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 19, 2008 beginning at 9 a.m. from the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway St., with a Liturgy of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick's Church, 319 Broadway St., with Rites of Committal and Burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fuller Rd., all in Chicopee.
