Jeanne M. Fekeris                                                                   1946-2010  SPRINGFIELD- Jeanne M. (Ferland) Fekeris, 63, a life long Springfield resident, entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 18, 2010 at home. She was born in Springfield on October 26, 1946, a daughter of the late Joseph and Anita (Proux) Ferland. Jeanne graduated from Cathedral High School, and was presently employed as a Case Specialist for the Hampden County Probate and Family Court. She was a communicant of Holy Name of Jesus Church, Chicopee. Jeanne is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Harry Fekeris; four devoted children, Robert Fekeris of St. Petersburg, FL, Darlene Fekeris of Ludlow, Linda Bramucci and her husband Peter of Ludlow, and Laurie Fekeris of Springfield; six cherished grandchildren, Jessica, Alexander, Stephanie, Justin, Jamie, and Shaina; and many great friends at the Hampden County Probate and Family Court. Funeral services for Jeanne will assemble on Thursday, January 21st beginning at 9 a.m. from the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Holy Name of Jesus Church, 33 South St., both in Chicopee. Rites of Committal and burial will follow in Hillcrest Park Cemetery, 895 Parker St., Springfield. Jeanne's family will receive relatives and friends at the visiting hours on Wednesday, January 20th (This Evening) from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jeanne's memory to Mercy Hospice, 1236 Main St., Holyoke, MA 01040.
