Jeannette Regina Davis

CHICOPEE- Jeannette (Monette) Davis of 83 Rochester Street in Chicopee passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Wingate at West Springfield.  Jeannette was born in Chicopee, the daughter of the late John and Regina (Dandurand) Monette. She was educated in Chicopee Schools and attended Chicopee High School. Jeannette worked at Pioneer Packaging and Superbrush in Chicopee for many years. She also worked for the Chicopee Public Schools in the cafeteria for eight years. She was a communicant of the former St. Georges RC Church and was a member of the St. Anne's Society. She leaves her beloved husband of 56 years, Richard M. Davis. Her sons; Kenneth Freyburger of Chicopee and Thomas Freyburger of South Carolina and a grandson, Eric Freyburger of South Carolina. Calling hours at the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway St., Chicopee will be Friday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. with a Religious service at the Funeral home at 11 a.m.. Burial will follow in St. Michaels cemetery in Springfield. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Research  Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
