Joanne H. Perreault1938-2013LUDLOW - Joanne H. (Siedel) Perreault, 74, of Ludlow, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Birch Manor Nursing Home, Chicopee.  Born in Chicopee on July 23, 1938, she was the daughter of the late John and Cecilia (Filipiak) Siedel. Joanne was a 1956 graduate of Chicopee High School and married her husband of 54 years, Richard P. Perreault in 1958. She was employed as a nurse's aide at Ludlow Hospital and later was a home health aide for Hospice Roncalli Home Health. Jo also worked at Stop & Shop in Springfield and worked as a florist at Mary's Floral Designs in Indian Orchard. Joanne was a member of the "Sunflower Walkers" the walking club at the Ludlow Senior Center, a member of "The Club" , a group of friends from the CHS Class of 1956, and a member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed gardening and painting, especially butterflies, birds, and flowers. Jo loved cats, namely her cat Zoie. Besides her husband, she leaves one son, John G. Perreault and his wife Amy Dryansky of Conway; two daughters, Linda R. Perreault of Ludlow and Susan M. Pfeffer and her boyfriend Darren Fontaine of Gilbertville; one brother, John Siedel of Chicopee; one sister, Cathy Senna of Southwick; and two grandchildren, Madeleine and Isaac Perreault. A funeral home service will be held at Ratell Funeral Home 200 Main St., Indian Orchard, Saturday, January 12th at 9am. Burial in Island Pond Cemetery, Ludlow. Calling hours Friday 4-7pm.
