John W. Berte

John W. Berte 1941-2006 Denver  Colorado- John W. Berte, 65, a retired building superintendent and thirty five year resident died April 29, 2006 in Denver. Born in Springfield he was a son of the late Louis J. Berte Sr. and Marie (Brunelle) Berte.  He was a graduate of Commerce High School. He resided in Springfield before moving to Colorado. Answering to the call of duty John enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. John is survived by a brother, Louis J. Berte Jr., of Chicopee. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday evening 7:00 PM at Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway, Chicopee. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited .
