John Vh Gedney

CHICOPEE- John VH Gedney Jr passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at his home with his partner by his side after a long battle with cancer. John was born in Springfield MA to the late John VH and Claire Gedney. John was educated in Agawam, MA and served in the United States Coast Guard during the Vietnam War and was the recipient of a Purple Heart medal. John leaves behind his partner of many years Kelly Vinton, his daughter, Kelly Cizek and husband Robert of San Tan Valley AZ; his son Keith Gedney, and wife Mohreese of Chandler AZ, his loving cousin Virginia Rudat and husband Ron from Attleboro MA, and many of nieces and nephews whom he adored. A Celebration of John's life will held at a later date with interment with military honors at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
