John Kasza

John C. Kasza 1962-2003 Chicopee- John C. Kasza, 41 of 128 Taylor St. Chicopee, died suddenly on Tuesday at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Holyoke he has lived all his life in Chicopee. He was presently employed for the Chicopee Housing Authority for the last 15 years. He was a 1979 graduate of Chicopee Comprehensive High School, upon graduation he joined the U.S. Navy and served from 1979 to 1983 and in the Navy reserves until 1985. He was a member of the Tigers A.C., the loyal order of Moose, he was an avid golfer and very active for many years in local softball leagues. John is pre-deceased by his parents Chester Kasza who died July 22, 2003 and Bertha V. (Michon) Kasza who died May 15, 2003 and a sister Patricia K. Williams who died February 9, 1999. He leaves his loving wife Joanne L. Kane-Kasza, a daughter Amanda Kasza and two stepdaughters Kellie and Heather D'Amour. He also leaves a sister Carol J. (Kasza) Miller of North Wildwood, N.J. and a grandson Dylan Page. John leaves other special family members, William Quinn, Kirsten Schmidt, William Quinn Jr., Nancy Anne Quinn, Kevin Miller and Deborah Korytko. Funeral services will be Friday 9 AM from the Tylunas Funeral Home of Chicopee with a 10 AM Mass in St. Patrick's Church. Burial in the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, Agawam.
