John A. Koshuta

John A. Koshuta 1936-2008   CHICOPEE- John A. Koshuta, 72, of Chicopeeand formerly of Holyoke, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday September 9, 2008 in Mercy Medical Center. John was born in Jersey City, New Jerseyon June 13, 1936 a son of the late Alexander and Mary Koshuta. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict. He obtained the rank of Airman Third Class, and received the National Defense Medal. Besides his parents, John was predeceased by a daughter, Michelle Koshuta. John is survived by his long time fiancée, Dawn Olinski; Five children, Lynne Koshuta of Springfield, Steven Koshuta of Chicopee, Christine Callahan and her husband Jim of Amherst, Danielle Collignon and her husband Kris of Springfield, and Tina Sampson of Westfield; ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and his beloved cat Louie. A funeral home service will be held Friday September 12that 11:30 a.m. in the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway St., Chicopee, with Rites of Committal and military honors to follow in the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery Chapel, 1390 Main St., Agawam.
