John C. Siedel

CHICOPEE-John C. Siedel, 78, of Chicopee passed away peacefully on Monday. John was a lifelong resident of Chicopee, attending local schools and graduated from Chicopee High School. He furthered his education graduating from the IBM School of Business in Boston, Mass. He enlisted in the US Army serving at Fort Hood, Texas. John worked as a Dispatcher for the former Boston & Maine Railroad for many years prior to his retirement. He loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. He also enjoyed trips to the Flea Market in search of the next treasure and enjoyed vintage cars. He leaves his wife, Evelyn (Cyboron) Siedel. His son John Siedel and his wife, Crystal and their daughter, Eden.  He also leaves a sister, Cathy Sena and her husband Ronald of Southwick. He was predeceased by his dear sister, Joanne Perreault. There are no calling hours and the family will have a Celebration of Life service to be announced. Tylunas Funeral & Cremation Services has been entrusted with arrangements.
