Jose L Madeira

Jose L. Madeira 1934-2005 Chicopee- Jose L. Madeira 71, beloved husband for 35 years to Delfina (Reis) Madeira, died August 31, 2005. Mr. Madeira, a retired laborer was a resident of Chicopee since 1970.Besides his wife, he is survived by his mother in law, Maria C. Lobo, brother in law, Manuel Martins, sister in law, Maria Martins, a nephew, Fernando Martins, two cousins, Salazar Dossantos and Sandra Dossantos-Peck. Mr. Madeira also leaves a brother, sister, and nephew all of Portugal. Friends are asked to gather Saturday morning, at 8:00 a.m., at the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway, Chicopee where a funeral procession will form, and proceed to St. Patrick's Church, 319 Broadway, Chicopee for a Liturgy of Christian Burial, celebrated, at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St.Patrick's Cemetery, Chicopee. Calling hours will take place at the funeral home, Friday, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the local chapter of Alcoholics Anonymous, 47 Pleasant St., Holyoke, Mass. 01040
