Joseph A. Chicorka

CHICOPEE- Joseph A. Chicorka, 74, of 517 Chicopee Street passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 1, 2019 in Westfield. Joe was a lifelong Chicopee resident, residing at the Honeyman Residence. He loved to draw and was a very philosophical person. He leaves his many friends at the Honeyman Home as well as the dedicated staff who cared for Joe over the years, affording him much dignity and a wonderful quality of life. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; Anthony & Martha Chicorka and his siblings; Richard, Tony and Freddy Chicorka and his many in-laws who so diligently kept in touch with him over the years.  A Religious service for Joe will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.  at Tylunas Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 159 Broadway St., Chicopee with Fr. Michael Twohig, Celebrant. Burial will follow in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery in South Hadley.
