Josephine M. Jez

Josephine M. (Bengiovanni) Jez, of Woodcrest Drive passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Framingham, MA. a daughter of the late James Bengiovanni and Carmella Mazzaro. She was a longtime communicant of the Basilica of St. Stanislaus, Bishop and Martyr. She was also a member of the Moose Lodge 1849 in Chicopee. Josephine was devoted to her family and was known to her friends who frequented the Chicopee School Senior Lunch as the "Cookie Lady". Josephine is predeceased by her devoted and loving husband Edward Jez. Her brothers; James, Carlo, Thomas and Louis and her sisters; Anna, Janet, Rosalind and Marguerite. Josephine leaves her devoted daughter, Linda Stec, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Due to social restrictions, a private graveside services was held in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Chicopee. Tylunas Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
