Joshua A. Laporte                                                               1981-2009 CHICOPEE- Joshua A. Laporte, 27, of Chicopee, passed away on June 25, 2009. Joshua was born September 4, 1981, a son of Ronald "Ted" Laporte, Jr. and Cheryl A. (Pecoy) Laporte. He was educated in Chicopee schools. Joshua enjoyed music, fishing, and sports and would do anything for anybody. His greatest treasure was his son Colby. Besides his parents, Joshua is survived by his son, Colby Laporte; a brother Matthew, all of Chicopee; his grandfather, Ronald T. Laporte Sr., of Clearwater, FL; and many, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, George and Janice Pecoy and Anastasia Laporte; and his aunt, Karen LeMay. Relatives and friends are invited to the visiting hours at the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway, on Wednesday, July 1st from 3-8 p.m. A funeral home services will be held on Thursday, July 2nd at 10 a.m. with burial in Fairview Cemetery, Abbey Memorial Drive, both in Chicopee.
