Juanita Baxter 1927-2007 Chicopee- Juanita Helen (Lincourt) Baxter, 79, a life long resident, passed away at her home, after a long illness, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Willimansette, she was a daughter of the late Mitchel and Aleda (Rock) Lincourt. She retired in 1987 after 8 years of employment at the Willimansette Nursing Home. Previously, she was a Nurses Aid for the Holyoke Visiting Nurses for 15 years. She was predeceased in 1984 by her husband of 41 years, Warner Carter Baxter . A brother, Russell Lincourt, and two sisters, "Lee" Peets and "Toni" Peloquin also predeceased her. Juanita is survived by two sons, Raymond Boudreau of New York, and David Boudreau of South Carolina; 2 daughters, Lois Baxter and Nancy Perkins both of Chicopee, 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral ceremonies will be held on Wednesday, beginning at 8:00AM from the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway, Chicopee, followed by a funeral procession to Assumption Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, for a Liturgy of Christian Burial, to be celebrated at 9:00 AM. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, South Hadley. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Tuesday afternoon from 1:00 to 6:00 PM. It was Juanita's request that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to her granddaughter, Kristine Baxter's college fund, or to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St.,Framingham, Ma. 01701.
