Gushue1943-2015Chicopee- "GOD looked around his garden and found an empty space... then He looked down upon this earth and saw your tired face...  He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest...  God's garden must be beautiful, he only takes the best... "Judith A. Gushue, 73, of Chicopee Mass went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 8, 2015.  Judy was born on July 13, 1943, in Northampton, the daughter of Claude & Marguerite Major.  Judy was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister and a dear friend to many.   Judy is predeceased by Richard, her loving and devoted husband of 34 years, her son Scott Patrick, her parents Claude & Marguerite Major and her sister Claudia Seklecki.  Judy is survived by her step children, Sandy Bailey & her husband Sean, Barbara Kershner, Richard Gushue & his wife Michelle, her sister Gayle Bassani and her family as well as her cousins, nieces and nephews.  Her grandchildren, Cecil, Nicole, Megan & Mitchell held a very special place in her heart as she did in theirs.  Her smile was contagious and she always had a kind word and optimistic outlook on life.  She brightened any room she entered.  She was also an avid animal lover and greatly enjoyed the time they spent breeding and selling Bichon Frise dogs over the years. She has many fond memories & friends of those who she helped become pet parents.  She will be forever and deeply missed.  "Until we meet again... those special memories of you will always bring a smile, if only I could have you back for just a little while, then we could sit and talk again, like we always used to do... you always meant so very much to me, and always will do too.  The fact that you are no longer here, will always bring me pain... but you are forever in my heart...
