Jules E. Rivard

Jules E. Rivard, 80 a lifelong resident of Springfield passed away peacefully on October 1, 2023, at Baystate Medical Center. Jules worked for the City of Springfield as a foreman in the Water Department for 26 years, retiring in 2020. Prior to his employment at the city, he owned his own business J. Rivard Remodeling. He coached little league baseball for East Springfield for many years. He enjoyed watching football baseball and was an avid Giants fan. Besides his family he loved cars whether it was a car show or an auction.
He Leaves is wife Imelda (Fleury) Rivard of 43 years and Sons Richard Rivard and his wife Pamela of Manchester Ct, Michael Rivard, and his Wife Lysandra of Springfield MA, Marc Rivard and Wife Sheryl of Lynchburg VA and Daughters Karen LaBranche and her husband Jeff of Simsbury Ct and Kristine Rivard and Partner Alex Leloup of Enfield, a daughter in Law Susie Rivard of Chicopee, Fifteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his Son Jules Rivard Jr.
Jules was a great Husband, Father, and Papa. He will be deeply missed by his family.
There will be a Celebration of his life at the Moose Lodge on 244 Fuller Rd, Chicopee MA on October 23rd from 3-6.
