Katherine M. Young

Katherine M. Young 1942-2010 CHICOPEE - Katherine M. (Dynan) Young, 68, of Chicopee, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2010.  Born in Lawrence, MA and a resident of Chicopee for the past (8) years, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Mary (Murphy) Dynan.  Katherine was a retired tax examiner for the Internal Revenue Service.  She was employed at the Andover and Methuen Service Centers.  She had also been a nurse for several years at the Berkley Hospital in Lawrence.  She leaves her daughters, Kathleen Foskin and her husband Mark of Bellerica; Michelle-Renee Heroux and her husband Brian of Springfield; her brother and caregiver, Daniel Dynan of Chicopee; her sister, Sr. Mary Rosaleen, Sisters of Charity, of North Andover and (6) grandchildren, Jennifer, Jesse, Sarah, Brian, Jr., Alicia and Olivia.  A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at St. Stanislaus Basilica, 566 Front St., Chicopee on Friday, October 15, 2010 at 9 a.m.  Burial will follow in St. Rose de Lima Cemetery, Chicopee.
