Katheryn Claire Feliton

CHICOPEE- Katheryn C. (Smith) Feliton, 70, of Valier Avenue passed away peacefully on Friday December 22, 2017 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. Katheryn was born in Somerville,  on December 21, 1947 the daughter of the late Robert & Katheryne (Manning) Smith. She was raised in Chicopee and attended local schools. Katheryn worked as a Quality Control manager for the former Rock-Tenn Company in Chicopee for many years before retiring.  She had resided in Chicopee for many years, raising her family here. She was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church in  Willimansett. She is survived by her children; Johanna Pieciak of Chicopee, Robert Feliton of Hamden, Anthony Feliton and his wife Holly of Springfield and William Feliton III and his wife Charlene of Chesapeake, Virginia and five grandchildren: Christopher Feliton, Jessica Kielb, Jonathan Pieciak, Andrew Feliton and Aiden Feliton. She also leaves her siblings; Mary Gay and husband Mike of Chicopee, Fredrick Smith and wife Marci of Arizona and William Smith and wife Kari of San Diego, California and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by several siblings; Robert Smith, Michael Smith and Arthur Smith.  At Katheryn's request all services will be private and interment in St. Rose de Lima Cemetery will be in the spring.
