Kenneth F. Grimshaw

Kenneth F. Grimshaw 1962-2011 CHICOPEE- Kenneth "Sifu Ken" F. Grimshaw, 49, a lifelong area resident, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 3, 2011, at the home of his mother, with his loving family by his side. He was born in Ludlow on April 11, 1962, a son of Theresa J. (Leclerc) Grimshaw of Chicopee and the late Francis W. Grimshaw. Ken graduated from Palmer High School in 1980, and was the Founder of The Kung Fu Academy in Chicopee. Besides his mother, Ken is survived by four brothers, John G. Grimshaw and his wife Jacqueline of Palmer, Roger A. Grimshaw of Ludlow, Joseph "Steve" Grimshaw of Palmer, and his twin, Kevin W. Grimshaw of Scottsdale, AZ; a sister, Kathleen J. Wilkinson of Phoenix, AZ; a niece, Rebecca Grimshaw of Warren; three nephews, Matthew Grimshaw of Palmer, Michael Grimshaw of Ludlow, and Justin Grimshaw of Palmer; his best friend and soul mate, Linda Dumas of Chicopee; his friend and business partner Mark Ostrander, and  his "best buddy" Tyler along with his little joys, Grace and Gabriel. Ken's family also recognizes his beautiful full circle of loving, life-long friends that brought him joy and who meant so very much to him. A funeral home service will be held on Thursday, September 8th at 7 p.m. at the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway, Chicopee. Ken's family will receive relatives and friends at the gathering prior to the service on Thursday from 4-7 p.m.  A Celebration of Ken's Life will be held on Friday, September 16th at 6 p.m. at The Kung Fu Academy, 551 East St., Chicopee, MA 01013.
