Kenneth A. Hodge 1947 - 2013 Chicopee- Kenneth A. Hodge, 65, of Chicopee, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, February 1, 2013. He was born in Springfield on October 26, 1947 to the late Kenneth E. and Gladys R. (Darcy) Hodge. Ken lived most of his life in Chicopee and was a 1965 graduate of Chicopee High School. He worked as a machine foreman for Hamilton Standard for over 20 years and was a courier for ABC Package Express in Springfield for almost 20 years. Ken was an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan and enjoyed outdoor activities, such as camping and fishing.  He thoroughly enjoyed getting into the kitchen, sharing the cooking and eating a good meal. You would always be aware of Ken's presence by the sound of cheerful whistling wherever he went. He loved being surrounded by family and friends and always enjoyed a good party. Ken was willing to help anyone in need and everyone who met him loved him. He leaves his fiancé Dianne J. Isabelle with whom he lived; one son Kenneth J. Hodge and his wife Tonya of Agawam; one daughter Melissa S. Connors and her husband Brian of Chicopee; one sister Sandra M. Turban and her husband Richard of South Hadley; one aunt Lillian Darcy of Chicopee; and seven grandchildren, Kathryn, Aleah, Jacob, Genesis, Tristen, Ethan, Ireland; Dianne's children Troy and Tammy Woodruff, Tammy's children Connor, Genesis and Benjamin, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 4th at the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway, Chicopee from 4-7pm with a prayer service at 7pm. Burial will be in the West Street Cemetery, Granby, MA, on Thursday, February 7th at 11am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Baystate Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice, 280 Chestnut St, 6th flr. Springfield, MA 01119.
