Kenneth E. Labarre

Kenneth E. LaBarre 1963-2010 SPRINGFIELD- Kenneth "Ken" E. LaBarre, 46, of Springfield and formerly of Chicopee, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 11, 2010 in Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Springfield on April 16, 1963, a son of the late Urban and Vivian (Bolduc) LaBarre. Ken graduated from Chicopee High School, and was the Building Supervisor for the City of Springfield in the Facilities Management Department. He was a U.S. Army veteran, and a member of the American Legion Post 420 in East Springfield. Ken is survived by his two children, Joshua S. LaBarre and Jordan E. LaBarre of Springfield and Pittsfield; three brothers, Urbain, Michael and Jean LaBarre; four sisters, Christine Lesperance, Phyllis Gadoury, Patricia Supernant, and Loretta Yargeau; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Ken were private. To assist Ken's children, Joshua and Jordan with their education, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made on behalf of Joshua and Jordan LaBarre to Joann Shugrue, 732 ½ Barker Road, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
