Leda Catherine Montos

CHICOPEE-Leda Catherine (Montos) Warren, 70, of Central Avenue in Chicopee passed away on Thursday January 25, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.  Leda was born in Springfield on November 21, 1947, the daughter of the late Nicholas Montos and Rose (Jarvis) Archambeau. She moved to Chicopee in her youth and was educated in local schools. Leda worked for many years as a paper manufacturer at several local paper mills. She was a communicant of Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Chicopee. Leda enjoyed being a mother and raising her children. She also loved collecting figurines and unique collectibles, many of which brought a smile to people's faces. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Warren and a sister, Barbara Montos. She leaves her children; Jeffrey Warren and Alana Warren both of Chicopee and four grandchildren;  Nicholas Porter, Brandon Porter, Abby Warren and Jay Warren She also leaves her siblings; William Archambeau and his wife Donna of Ludlow, Gene Archambeau and his wife Denise of West Springfield and Melinda Lortie and her wife Linda Mariani of Adam and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with Leda's wishes, the family will hold private services. Donations in Leda's memory may be made the American Lung Association, 393 Maple St, Springfield, MA 01105
