Lillian C. Roux 1908-2004 Chicopee- Lillian C. (Ball) Roux, 95, a life long resident of Chicopee, died Saturday September 4, 2004 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home North in Agawam. Born in the Willimansett section of Chicopee on November 5, 1908 she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Annie (McNeilis) Ball. She attended Chicopee public schools, was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church, and was a member of the Aldenville Senior Citizens Club where she also served as secretary. Lillian was employed at New England Telephone Company, Chicopee City Hall for 20 years, and retired in 1970 from the former Moore Company (Eastco Hand Tool Company) in Springfield after 20 years of service. She was predeceased by her first husband, Thomas McCearn in 1941, and her second husband, Raoul "Ralph" H. Roux in 1996. Lillian is survived by her daughters; Barbara A. Walat and her husband Henry of Westfield, Suzanne I. Viens and her husband Richard of Chicopee, and Elaine A. Scanlon of Chicopee. Nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive Lillian. Family and friends are invited to attend a Liturgy of Christian Burial on Wednesday September 8th at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church 319 Broadway with burial in St. Rose de Lima Cemetery, Christopher St. both in Chicopee. There are no visiting hours.
