Linda J. Carpenter

CHICOPEE- Linda J. Carpenter, 59, of Skeele St. in the Willimansett section of Chicopee passed away on Monday April 23, 2018 at Baystate Medical Center surrounded by her family. Linda was born in Springfield on December 27, 1958, a daughter of Stewart & Cecile (Benard) Hartman. She was raised in Springfield. She has lived in Chicopee for many years. Linda leaves her beloved husband; Daniel "Dan" Carpenter. Her loving daughters; Heather Carpenter and Renee' Carpenter Gow both of Chicopee, Jennifer Soto of Florida, and seven grandchildren who she loved and lived for; Desiree Carpenter, Katrina Carpenter-Douglas, Danielle Carpenter-Douglas, Stephanie Carpenter Becker, Kaelyn Gow, Lily Gow, and Sage Soto.  She also leaves her siblings; Bonnie Smith, Gina Chamberlin, Hazel Warner, Rachel Hartman, Cecile King, Stewart Hartman and Andrew Hartman as well as many nieces and nephews. She was sadly predeceased by a daughter, Stephanie Lyle. The family invites you to join them on Friday May 4, 2018 at Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway St., Chicopee from 2-4 p.m. for a Celebration of her life, share memories, laugh, and to remember a wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
