Linda D. Gadoury

Linda D. (Nicolau) Gadoury, 76, of Chicopee passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, August 22, 2022.  Linda was born in Holyoke on November 4, 1945, one of three daughters of the late Victor J. Nicolau and Rena B. Potyrala. Linda was educated in Holyoke Schools, graduating from the former Rosary High School. She furthered her education, attending Holyoke Community College. She was a Customer Service Rep. for the R.M. Sullivan Co, in Springfield for 12 years, retiring in 2007. She had previously worked for K & M Electronics in West Springfield. Linda enjoyed watching the Red Sox and Patriots. She loved taking Cruises, especially Bermuda. Linda loved Penguins and their quirky antics. Linda leaves her beloved sisters; Vickie Nicolau and Gail Doss along with a dear sister in law, Shirley Picard. Her nieces and nephews; Dominic Mastroianni and his wife Wendi, Kelsey Nicolau, Margaret Piela, Barbara Mayotte and her husband Stephen, Rebecca LaBrie and her husband Joseph as well as several great nieces and a nephew. Linda leaves her companion, Charles Phelps and her dear friend, Donna Gilligan-Strand. She was predeceased by her husband, Victor J. Gadoury, her parents; Victor & Rena Nicolau, and only recently her sister Gail's partner, Dennis Biron. There are no calling hours. FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND A GRAVESIDE SERVICE WITH THE CATHOLIC RITES OF COMMITTAL FOR LINDA ON FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2022 AT 11:00 A.M AT ST. PATRICK'S CEMETERY, FULLER RD., CHICOPEE. Donations in Linda's memory may be made to the Dakin Animal Shelter or Springfield Rescue Mission.
