Lise M. Grondin

Lise M. Grondin 1935-2006 WEST SPRINGFIELD- Lise M. (Rondeau) Grondin, 71, of West Springfield and formerly of Springfield and Woonsocket, RI, entered into eternal rest on Sunday June 18, 2006 at Wingate of East Longmeadow. She was born in Woonsocket, RI, on February 10, 1935 the daughter of the late Edouard and Robertine (Lefrancois) Rondeau. Lise was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church in Ludlow and the former St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Springfield. Lise is survived by her husband of 50 years; Roger A. Grondin of West Springfield, her twelve loving children; Normand J. and his wife Denise of Springfield, Marcel J. and his wife Charlotte of Southwick, Jeanne M. Hobbs and her husband Dale of Panama City, FL, Gerard J. and his wife Deborah of Springfield, Cecile M. Dubowski and her husband Carl of Springfield, Rachel M. Vilakis and her husband Charles of Springfield, Donald J. of Chicopee, Armand J. and his wife Yvonne of Ludlow, Edouard J. and his wife Lisa of West Springfield, Roger J. and his wife Lynn of Hatfield, Robert J. and his wife Jen of Springfield, and Diana M. Drapeau and her husband Norman of Springfield, 22 cherished grandchildren, 4 cherished great grandchildren, two brothers; Alva Rondeau and his wife Madeleine of Woonsocket, RI, and Real Rondeau and his wife Lucienne of West Springfield, a chosen sister; Nancy L.  Fournier of Springfield, and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Lise was predeceased by her brother Jule Rondeau. Funeral services will begin on Friday June 23rd at 8:45 a.m. from the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway, Chicopee, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church, 181 Hubbard St., Ludlow, with Rites of Committal to follow in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel, 1390 Main St., Agawam. The Grondin family will receive family and friends on Thursday June 22nd from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
