Loretta O. Dube

Loretta O. Dube 1916 ~ 2008   Chicopee - Loretta O. Dube, 91, of Chicopee, passed away peacefully Friday, March 14, 2008 surrounded by her loving family at Mt. St. Vincent Nursing Home, Holyoke.  Born June 27, 1916 in Norwich, CT, she was the daughter of the late Ludger and Angenaide (Fontaine) Bouley.  Loretta was a communicant of St. George Church in Chicopee and a member of the Ladies of St. Ann.  During WWII she was employed with American Bosch and Savage Arms, and later retired from Spalding.  She is survived by her loving son, Eugene and his wife, Karen of Sheffield, MA; daughters, Elaine Warner and her husband, Robert of Narragansett, RI; Denise Manfredi and her fiancé, Jake Jurgenson of West Springfield; Celeste Gabinelli and her husband, Joseph of Chicopee; and Michele Austin and her husband, Michael of Palmer, MA.  She will also be missed by her 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, R. Eugene Dube.  A funeral service for Loretta will be held on Monday, March 17, 2008 beginning at 10 AM at the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial, to be celebrated at 11 AM, in St. George Church, 7 Belcher Street, and burial to will follow in St. Rose De Lima Cemetery, all in Chicopee.  Calling hours will be held from 9-10 AM Monday morning at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made in Loretta's name to Mt. St. Vincent Resident Council Fund, 35 Holy Family Road, Holyoke, MA01040.
