Loretta B. Senecal 1916 ~ 2008   CHICOPEE- Loretta B. (Cyr) Senecal, 92, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday December 3, 2008 at home in the loving care of her husband Roland. She was born in Chicopee on September 16, 1916 a daughter of the late William and Clara (Paradise) Cyr. Loretta was educated in Chicopee schools, and retired from Sickles in 1974 after 25 years of service. She was a communicant of St. George Church in Chicopee. After retirement, Loretta enjoyed traveling with her husband. She also enjoyed ceramics and crocheting. Loretta is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 72 years, Roland L. Senecal of Chicopee; a son, William G. Senecal and his wife Margaret of Palm Coast, FL; a grandson, Peter Senecal of Florida; and her good friend Joyce Gereaux of Chicopee; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday December 6, 2008 beginning at 10 a.m. from the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway St., with a Liturgy of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11 a.m. in St. George Church, 7 Belcher St., with Rites of Committal and burial in St. Rose de Lima Cemetery, 45 Olsen St., all in Chicopee. Loretta's family will receive relatives and friends at the calling hours on Friday December 5th(THIS EVENING) from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
