Louise J. Baldini, 101, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2026, in Chicopee.

Born in Springfield on August 26, 1924, she was the daughter of the late John and Marion (Stevenson) Paran. Louise was raised in Springfield and, during high school, began working to support the World War II effort by making military supplies. She later worked in retail at J.M. Fields and Steiger's before her retirement.

Louise enjoyed spending time at the Hungry Hill Senior Center and completing crossword puzzles. In addition, she devoted more than 25 years as a volunteer at Mercy Medical Center.

She was predeceased by her parents, her sister Gloria Barbieri, and her brother William Paran. She leaves her loving sons, Alan Baldini of Springfield and Wayne Baldini and his husband Weverton of Wallingford, Connecticut; her brother Robert Paran and his wife, Ruth, of Pennsylvania; along with extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Park Cemetery, 895 Parker Street, Springfield, MA 01028.
