Lucille C. Maki

Chicopee-Lucille Claire (Lesieur) Maki, 77, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend was called to eternal rest on March 26, 2007. She was born in Springfield, daughter of Wilfred and Fabiola (Potvin) Lesieur. She was predeceased by her parents, brother Leon, and son in law John (Jack) Sears Jr. Lucille is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Sylvester, and their children Susan Sears of Hudson, New Hampshire, Joanne Hills, Deborah Maki of Chicopee Falls, Carol Corriveau and her husband Richard of Chicopee, Lynn Lesser and her husband Philip of Agawam and David Maki of Herndon, Virginia. Lucille was the proud grandmother of Lisa Santiago and her husband Jose of Londonderry, New Hampshire, Kimberly Sears of Hudson, New Hampshire, Emily and Madeline Corriveau of Chicopee, and Joshua Lesser of Agawam. She was also the proud great-grandmother of Camryn, Mackenzie and Joseph Santiago of Londonderry, New Hampshire. The family would like to extend special thanks to all the staff at Heritage Hall East for their unwavering support and care. She will be greatly missed by her four legged friend, Rusty. She worked at U.S. Envelope and was educated in Chicopee schools. Lucille loved visiting with her family and many friends. She enjoyed spending time with her pets, playing cards and traveling.Her funeral ceremony will be held Monday 9:30 AM at Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway, Chicopee. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts Veteran's Cemetery, Agawam. Calling hours are Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
