Lynn H. Lawson

Lynn H. (Champlin) Lawson 1928-2007   CHICOPEE - Lynn H. (Champlin) Lawson, 78, a resident of over 50 years in the Falls section, died Sunday March 4,2007 at BaystateMedicalCenter,following an illness and surrounded by her loving family.   Lynn was born in Springfield, a daughter of the late Harold A. and Mabel J. (Farrington) Champlin. Lynn was a graduate of ClassicalHigh School. She also was a graduate of SpringfieldTradeHigh School Practical Nursing Program in 1964.   Following  graduation ,she became employed as a Legal Practical Nurse with WessonMemorialHospital . She continued employment following the merger with BaystateMedicalCenter, and later retired after many years of dedicated service. She was a member of First Central Baptist Church, ChicopeeFalls. Lynn was predeceased by a brother, John Champlin, a sister, Jessie Paulson, and a very dear longtime special friend, Richard Williams.    Lynn is survived by a son, Bruce Lawson and his wife, Barbara of Feeding Hills; a daughter, Margaret "Midge" Deno and her husband, Richard of Marlborough, Connecticut; two nephews, Harold Paulson of Otis, and Peter Paulson of West Stockbridge.   A funeral ceremony will be conducted on Thursday , 10:00am at Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway,Chicopee, Mass.  Private Burial . Calling hours will take place on Wednesday at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.   The family has requested for those who prefer to make a memorial contribution, that expressions of sympathy be made to M.S.P.C.A., 171 Union St., Springfield, Ma. 01108 or to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, Ma. 01071-4688.
