Margaret Lewis

RUSSELL- Margaret J. Lewis, 54, of Mountain Laurel Drive in Russell passed away on Thursday at Noble Hospital in Westfield. Margaret was born in Holyoke on September 1, 1963 the daughter of the late Mary Ann (Gaylord) Brady and Sherman Towsley. Margaret grew up in Chicopee, attending local schools. She raised her family in Chicopee and especially loved being a Mom, caring and nurturing for her children and especially her beloved grandchildren. Margaret had lived in Russell for the past ten years.  She enjoyed going to the beach and was very skilled at crocheting.  She leaves her husband, Steven R. Miller of Russell. Her children; Jason of Westfield, Jarred of Ohio, Joshua of Washington, Adam of Waltham, Cody of Agawam, Kristi Lewis of Northampton and her many beloved grandchildren who were her most cherished angels. Margaret also leaves her stepfather, James Brady of Chicopee, two brothers; Sherman "Skip" Towsley of Colorado, Kenneth Towsley of Palmer and nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by a son, Cory and two siblings; Nancy Beaudoin and Darlene Mercadante. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway St., Chicopee. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fuller rd., Chicopee. Calling hours will precede the service on Thursday from 9-11 a.m. Donations in her memory can be made to GoFundMe set up in her name for Funeral Expenses.
