Mary Bettgenhauser

Mary Bettgenhauser 1911-2010 CHICOPEE - Mary (Kus) Bettgenhauser, 99 of Chicopee, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 4, 2010.  Born in Chicopee and a life long resident, she was the daughter of the late Stanislaw and Clara (Kubala) Kus.  Mary was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and home maker.  Her family meant everything to her and spending time with them was always special.  She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Basilica and enjoyed playing bingo, cards and walking everywhere.  She was predeceased by her husband, Paul Bettgenhauser who passed in 1982.  She leaves her son, Stanley Bettgenhauser and daughter, Alice Bobrowski both of Chicopee as well as (7) grandchildren; Christine, Bernard, Richard, Melissa, Melinda, Dee-Ann and Todd; (16) great grandchildren and (1) great great granddaughter. Funeral services will be held at the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway, Chicopee, on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at 10:30 a.m., followed by the Liturgy of Christian Burial in St. Stanislaus Basilica at 11 a.m.  Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Chicopee.  Calling hours will be held at the Tylunas Funeral Home on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
