Mary A. Kulik 1922-2010 SOUTH HADLEY - Mary A. (Pasternak) Kulik, a resident of South Hadley, MA died on April 21, 2010 surrounded by loving family. She was born in Holyoke, MA September 13, 1922, the daughter of Elyiasz and Amelia (Waite) Pasternak. Mary was affectionately known as "Tootsie" by her family. She was an outstanding cook as her family and friends can attest. She worked at Hamilton Standard, Renn Electronics and Mount Holyoke College. She attended St. Theresa's Church in South Hadley, MA. She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley J. Kulik, Sr., in 1996; by her son Stanley J. Kulik, Jr., in 2007; by her brothers, Ollie, Daniel, Boles and Frank. Mary is survived by her daughter, Barbara and husband Paul Sears of East Dennis, MA; by her sister, Lena and husband Warren Devlin of CT; by her daughter-in-law Anne Kulik of Chicopee, MA; by her sisters-in-law, Marilyn Pasternak of South Hadley, MA and Julia Pasternak of Holyoke, MA; by her grandchildren James Watson, Maureen Kulik, David and Christine Kulik, Alicia and Mark Germain and Christine Gent; by her great grandchildren, Brian Watson, Alexandra, Dillon and Gabrielle Gent and Caleb and Sydney Germain and by numerous nephews and nieces. A calling hour will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at the Tylunas Funeral Home 159 Broadway, Chicopee from 8 to 9 a.m., followed by the Liturgy of Christian Burial in St. Theresa's Church, 9 E. Parkview Drive, South Hadley, MA at 10 a.m. Burial will be on St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Chicopee. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kindred Parkview Hospital, 1400 State St., Springfield, MA 01109 or to a charity of choice.
