Mary A. Olszewski

Mary A. Olszewski 1924-2013 Springfield- Mary A. (Marcil) Olszewski, age 89, of Springfield passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2013. She was a graduate of the High School of Commerce. Mary was a decorator in the candy department at Steigers and worked for many years at the Koffee Kup where she had a faithful following of customers. She loved her cookbooks and was always looking for new recipes. Mary will be remembered fondly by her loving family and will be greatly missed. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Stanley in 1992.  She is survived by her daughter Linda Cook, granddaughter Kami Ponthier and her husband Andy of Texas, her brother Gilbert Marcil, sister-in-law Shirley Marcil, and sisters Frances Russell and Sandra Matthews.   She was also predeceased by her sister Joanne Bailey and son-in-law Robert Cook. A funeral home service will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 12pm at the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway, Chicopee, with calling hours held prior to the services from 11am-12pm.
