Mary A. Reny

CHICOPEE-Mary A. (Corrigan) Reny, 96, of 145 Crestwood St. passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 3, 2018 at her home. Mary was born in Chicopee on May 1, 1921, the daughter of the late James F. and Bridget (McQuade) Corrigan, who emigrated from Ireland. She spent her entire life in Chicopee, attended local schools and was a graduate of Baypath Secretarial School now known as Baypath University.  She worked as an Executive Secretary at Monsanto Chemical over 35 years prior to her retirement.  Mary enjoyed living in her home up until her passing. She was a devoted communicant of St. Patrick's Church in Chicopee until her health precluded her attending Mass. Her husband, Louis M. Reny predeceased her. She is survived by her niece and nephews; Kathleen M. Corrigan, John B. and James F. Corrigan and several great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings:  Barney, Pat, John and James Corrgian. There are no calling hours. At Mary's request, all services will be private with interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fuller Rd., Chicopee. Donations in Mary's memory may be made to St. Patrick's Church, Broadway St., Chicopee, Ma.
