Maureen M. Lavallee

Maureen M. Lavallee 1951-2012 SPRINGFIELD- Maureen "Moe" M. (Brin) Lavallee, 61, of Springfield and formerly of Chicopee, entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 9, 2012 at home. She was born in Holyoke on April 22, 1951, the daughter of the late Victor J. and Honey H. (Harlow) Brin. Moe graduated from Chicopee High School, and was employed for 27 years at Riverbend Medical Group. She enjoyed life, and received the most enjoyment when she was with her grandchildren and was very active in their lives. Moe is survived to cherish her memory by her loving and devoted husband of 16 years, Brian T. Lavallee; a son, Raymond E. Arsenault and his fiancée Danielle Pouliot of Springfield; a daughter, Jennifer L. Mancuso of East Longmeadow; six cherished grandchildren, Jeffrey, Kelsey, Jonathan, Haley, Autumn, and Aaron; her mother in law, Pearl (Shepard) Lavallee; a son in law, Jeff L. Mancuso of East Longmeadow; a brother, Thomas W. Brin and his wife Mary of Chicopee; a sister in law, Brenda Frantz and her husband Peter; three brothers in law; Alan Lavallee and his wife Susan, Mark Lavallee and his wife Karen,  Raymond Lavallee and his wife Rindy, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Moe will be especially missed by her lifelong best friends, Karen Lavallee, Char Berzinski and her husband Ed. She will also be greatly missed by her extended family and friends at Riverbend Medical Group. Besides her parents, Moe was predeceased by a brother, Jody Brin; her father in law, Robert Lavallee; and a brother in law, Warren Lavallee. A funeral home service will be held on Saturday, July 14th at 12 p.m. in the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway, Chicopee. Moe's family will receive relatives and friends at the gathering prior to the service from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
