Michael Stanley Dechristopher

SPRINGFIELD-Michael Stanley DeChristopher, 81, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2020.  He is reunited with his parents, Thomas and Stella (Ostrowski) DeChristopher, and his wife Marieann, the love of his life.  Michael worked for TWA and had many fond memories, particularly with his best friend David.  His friends and all of his "favorite cousins" knew him as Mickey, and he always greeted everyone with jokes and a smile. He liked playing cards and enjoyed donuts, cigars, and a glass of wine.  For the last four years, Mike lived at JGS Lifecare, where he enjoyed bingo, activities, and the coffee shop, and was treated like family by the caregivers and volunteers there.  Michael leaves behind his loving daughter Michelle and her boyfriend Matthew, who will both miss him dearly.  A Graveside Services with military honors will be held on THURSDAY, AUGUST, 27, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at the MASSACHUSETTS VETERANS MEMORIAL CEMETERY, 1390 MAIN ST., AGAWAM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michael's name to JGS Lifecare, 770 Converse St, Longmeadow, MA 01106. Tylunas Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with arrangements.
