Michael James Houlihan

Michael J. Houlihan 1951 - 2004 CHICOPEE-Michael J. Houlihan, 53, formerly of 28 Semard Drive, died Sunday in East Longmeadow.  Born in Springfield, he was educated in Chicopee Schools and was a 1969 graduate of Chicopee High School.  Michael graduated from Dartmouth College in 1973, and received his law degree from Western New England College.  He practiced law in the Boston area for several years.  Michael was an avid golfer, but the joy of his life was his daughter Alexandra. Michael is survived by his cherished daughter, Alexandra of Milton, Mass., his father Thomas Houlihan and his wife Margaret of York, Maine, his mother Claire Houlihan of Montgomery, Mass., a brother Kevin Houlihan and his wife Christine Enos of Oakland, Rhode Island, and sisters Karen Chaffee and her husband Bill of Montgomery, Mass., and Catherine Herold and her husband Bob of Rye, New Hampshire, his uncle and aunt, Leo and Jackie Bergeron, and his nieces and nephews Sara, Kevin, Andrea, Justin, and Jeffrey. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service for Michael Saturday, March 13, 2004 at 11 AM at the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway, Chicopee.  Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.  Visiting hour Saturday 10 - 11 AM.
