Michael Roberts

Michael P. Roberts 1962 - 2005 HOLYOKE -- Michael P. Roberts, 42, or 9 Vernon St., died Saturday in Riverdale Gardens Nursing Home.  Born in Springfield, he had lived most of his life in Chicopee, and was a graduate of Chicopee Comp. High School. Michael previously had worked for National Blank Book of Holyoke, and recently was employed as a welder for R.R. LeDuc Co. of Holyoke.  He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus, Chicopee Council and was a motorcycle enthusiast. Michael is survived by a daughter, Tanya Roberts of Chicopee, his father Albert A. Roberts of West Springfield, brothers Albert Roberts and Scott Roberts, both of Springfield, and many aunts, uncles and close friends. Funeral services Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at 10 AM at the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway, Chicopee.  Burial will be in St. Rose de Lima Cemetery.  Visiting hours Tuesday 6-8 PM.
