Michael James White

CHICOPEE-Michael James White, 30, of Springfield Street in Chicopee passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. Mike was born in Providence, Rhode Island on October 9, 1987, the son of Edward J. White and Claudia Palframan. He grew up in North Attleboro, attending local schools and graduated from North Attleboro High School. He obtained his Massachusetts Realtors license and worked as a Realtor for a number of years. He also worked as a long haul Truck Driver, traveling throughout the country. Mike enjoyed music, art, attending concerts & shows. His favorite genre was the underground music scene of which he was a devoted fan. He also enjoyed cooking for family and friends and they enjoyed his flair for exotic foods. Mike was a blossoming student of Buddhism, the many tenets of the faith helped guide him in finding inner peace in the past years. He loved spending time with his friends, especially his family, often travelling and enjoying the simple pleasures in life in the places they visited. Mike leaves his loving parents; Claudia Palframan of Chicopee and Edward J. White of Wrentham. His devoted sister; Elizabeth White of Raynham. His paternal grandmother; Elizabeth White of Norwood, Ma. and his maternal grandparents; Michael & Helga Palframan of Cumming, GA. and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He also leaves his many friends, near and far, who he so fondly remembered and never forgot.  Family and friends will gather to remember Michael, share memories, stories and Celebrate his Life on Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Munich Haus, 13 Center St., Chicopee, Ma. 01020.   Burial will be private. Donations in Michael's memory may be made to Refuge Recovery, c/o Jean Tuller, Against the Stream, 4300 Melrose Ave. Los Angeles, CA  90029. The family has entrusted Michael's care with Tylunas Funeral Home, Chicopee.
