Nancy Lynn Eggleston

CHICOPEE - Nancy L. Eggleston (Drewniak), 54, of Maple Street in Chicopee passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Thursday, January 24, 2019 after a brave battle with pancreatic cancer.  Nancy was born in Springfield on May 25, 1964. She was raised by her mother and stepfather; Margaret (Smith) Yergeau and Robert Yergeau who both predeceased her. She was educated in both Springfield and Chicopee Schools, moving to Chicopee in her youth. She graduated from Chicopee Comprehensive High School and furthered her education at Holyoke Community College, where she received her Associate's degree. She worked for many years at Dow Jones Publishing in Springfield. She will be remembered for her love of crafting, passion for movies, and enjoyment of travel. Nancy was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Chicopee and a member of the Weight Watchers community in Chicopee. She leaves her husband John C. Eggleston, her children; Merriah Eggleston of Chicopee and Jayce Neal of Easthampton; stepson Johnny Eggleston and stepdaughter Angie Siana. Her half-siblings, Gail Hill of Ohio and Randy Drewniak of Pittsfield, MA. She also leaves extended family far and wide. Family and friends will gather and remember Nancy on Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway St., Chicopee with a Life Celebration Service at 4:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Nancy's wishes were to be cremated and for her interment services to be private. Donations in her memory can be made to the World Wide Fund for Nature ( www.worldwildlife.org )
