Neil E. Abramowicz

Neil E. Abramowicz, 73, of Roy Street passed away peacefully after a brief illness at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield on Monday, October 16, 2023. Neil was born in Springfield, a son of the late Edward and Mary (Minie) Abramowicz. He was educated in local schools and had resided in Springfield for most of his life. Neil was a skilled upholster, working for General Dynamics in Westfield for many years. He worked in the fabric industry as a salesman in addition to operating his own upholstery company. Neil played hockey in his youth and later took up the sport of golf and was a lifetime enthusiast. He enjoyed watching the Bruins and Patriots, and was a devoted fan through their ups and downs. Neil leaves his siblings; Jeffery P. and Robert C. Abramowicz, Nancy M. Konieczny, Lauren M. Reilly and JoAnne M. Abramowicz, several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. CATHOLIC COMMITTAL RITES AND PRAYERS WILL BE HELD AT THE FUNERAL HOME AT 5:45 P.M. Interment of his ashes will be private.
