Patricia Norman Smith

Patricia Norman Smith, 87, of Chicopee, MA, passed away peacefully at home on August 12, 2025. She was born in Springfield, MA on November 22, 1937, to her late parents Victor and Adele (Szydlick) Norman.
Patricia lived for years on a boat in Puerto Rico, embracing the ocean and enjoying snorkeling. She loved painting, sketching, and gardening, and will be remembered for her warmth, adventurous spirit, and creativity.
Patricia was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert Smith. She is survived by her daughter, Debi (Del) Ekenbarger of Naugatuck, CT; sons, Darren (Sharri) Sharp of Searsburg, VT, and Daniel (Diane) Sharp of Canterbury, CT; sister, Roseann (Ron) Citarell of Chicopee, MA; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam, MA.
