Patricia Ann Solzak

Patricia A. Solzak 1950-2009 MONSON- Patricia Ann (Fitzgerald) Solzak 59 has gone to be with her best friend and sister, Darlene Marie, on September 20, 2009, who has been waiting for her since May 28, 2004.  Born in Ludlow, on January 27, 1950 Pat attended the High School of Commerce, Springfield graduating in 1967. She then attended LaBaron Hairdressing Academy, Springfield graduating in 1968. Pat was an avid doll dealer and collector and frequented antique and doll shows up and down the East coast. She also enjoyed spending time and vacationing with her family and friends. Her happiest years were spent raising her 2 girls, who were the light of her life. With a heavy heart, Pat leaves behind her caregiver, soul mate and husband of 40 years, Edward; herbeloved daughters and sons in law, Pamela Jean Lannon and Jay Baillargeon of South Hadley, Susan Lynn Gibbs and Eric Gibbs of West Suffield, CT; her precious grandchildren, Erin, Brooke, Marcus and Jayden; her sister, Edna Solzak of Springfield; her nephews, Gary and Mark Gosselin; her niece, Terri Gosselin; several other nieces, nephews, and a host of other friends, including longtime friend, Jean Bowden of Springfield. All services are private and Pat's wishes were to have no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Pat's name to any cancer related cause.  Tylunas Funeral Home, Chicopee is in charge of all arrangements.
