Paul M. Griffin                 1964-2008   SAN DIEGO, CA- Paul M. Griffin, 43, of San Diego, CA, and formerly of Springfield, MA, entered into eternal rest on Monday August 11, 2008at home. He was born in Springfieldon October 28, 1964, a son of the late James and Margaret (Courtney) Griffin. Paul graduated from CathedralHigh Schoolin 1982, and received his Bachelors of Science degree in Criminal Justice from A.I.C. in 1987, both in Springfield. He was a wholesale distributor for Crest Beverages, and a communicant of St. Therese Church, both in San Diego. Paul was a member of the Friendly Sons of Ireland and the Fraternity ASD. He is survived to cherish his memory by two brothers, James Griffin of Gardner, MA, and John Griffin and his wife Kathy of East Longmeadow, MA; three sisters, Ellen Kennedy of Springfield, MA, Sheila Sanzone and her husband Anthony of San Diego, CA, and Shannon Dalton of Springfield, MA; and eleven nieces and nephews, Christopher, Kaelin, Ryan, Paul, Bryan, Bridget, Griffin, Owen, Matthew, Nolan and Christina. Besides his parents, Paul was predeceased by his brother, Patrick Griffin. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday August 23rdat 11 a.m.in HolyCrossChurch, 221 Plumtree Rd.Springfield, MAwith Rites of Committal and burial to follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fuller Rd, Chicopee, MA.
