Raymond E Pelchat

Raymond E. Pelchat, 82 formerly of Cochran St. in Chicopee passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021 at Mercy Hospital. Ray was born in Farmington, ME., a son of the late Louis E. and Gertrude (Moore) Pelchat. Ray was a longtime resident of Chicopee. He worked for Hazen Paper in Holyoke for many years as a maintenance supervisor, retiring in 2001. He was a life member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge, #1849, in Chicopee. His beloved wife of 37 years, Pat passed away in 1997. Ray leaves his longtime companion, Marcella Kenney with whom he made his home. Ray's children; Steven Pelchat and his wife Susan of Hadley, James Pelchat of Feeding Hills, Susan Missildine and her husband David of Chicopee and a stepdaughter, Jody Beiler of Westfield, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his siblings; Roger Pelchat and Donna Kees. AT RAY'S REQUEST, ALL SERVICES WILL BE PRIVATE WITH INTERMENT OF HIS ASHES AT A LATER DATE.
